The ‘Spirit of the City’ route closes with a theatrical performance
From the ‘Spirit of the City’, an in-depth course promoted by the Buonarroti Residence with the Directorates of the Milan Colleges and Residences, a photo contest was born involving the students of all the Colleges.
The contest, aimed at all the students of the Colleges on Campus and the Residences in the City of the Milan campus of the Università Cattolica, has as its focus the story of Milan and its inhabitants through a photograph taken with one’s smartphone that captures the details hidden behind the lights of the city. 
The aim of the course is to offer an opportunity for reflection that encourages people to observe the “spirit of the city” with a more attentive eye in relation to their own course of study, in order to return to talking about mercy in everyday life.
The final appointment of the course will be held in the courtyard of the Buonarroti Residence on 22 May at 9.00 p.m. with a performance by Lucilla Giagnoni, one of Italy’s best-known and most appreciated actresses and theatre authors, who will stage a theatrical meditation entitled La Misericordia. Charity: beauty and nourishment of Humanity, an anthropological and spiritual journey dealing with the theme of dialogue between faith and culture. Finally, during the evening, the three best photos from the photo contest will be announced, and an award will be presented to close the journey.
